Changelog:
2.3.4 - Bugfix: standard Pages (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions,
Disclaimer, About, etc.) had no spacing rules of their own, so the
page title sat flush against the sticky site header with no
breathing room, reading as if the header covered the title. Added
top clearance and a bottom rule under the title, in line with the
spacing every other template already uses, plus a scroll-margin
safety net for the "Skip to content" link.
2.2.1 - Bugfix: CARTO's free dark_all basemap tiles started requiring an
API key ("API KEY REQUIRED" watermark on the map), so the
Discovery Map now uses plain OpenStreetMap tiles with a CSS
filter for the dark look — no key needed. Also fixed post titles
with an apostrophe or ampersand showing as a raw HTML entity
(e.g. "&") instead of the real character in the map's case
index and popups.
2.2.0 - Each homepage region row now fetches up to 9 recent posts and
scrolls as a slider (prev/next arrow buttons, only shown when a
region has more than 3) alongside the existing "View all" link.
Footer gained a third "Legal" column (Privacy Policy, Terms &
Conditions) after Regions and Navigate.
2.1.0 - Homepage "Latest Hauntings" now groups the three most recent posts
under each region (United States, Ireland, U.K.) with a "View all"
link per region, and embeds the Discovery Map (same Leaflet map used
on /discover) below the region grids. Card CTA changed to "Read
Story". Footer tagline copy updated, and footer nav labels changed
("The Atlas" -> "Home", "About the Veil" -> "About").
2.0.0 - Full editorial redesign: serif display/body type (Playfair Display
+ Lora) over a near-black/cream/blood-red palette, restyled cards
with region + danger badges, full-bleed hero with region quick
links, a featured pull-quote section, and a two-column About page
template with stats. Added a "Region" taxonomy (United
States/United Kingdom/Ireland). Added the Discovery Map
(/discover) — an interactive Leaflet + free dark-tile map with
pulsing pins at real coordinates, region fly-to filters, and a
synchronized case-index sidebar. Added Submit a Location
(/submit) — a public case-report form (auto-slugged title,
region, coordinates, entity type, danger level, image upload,
summary, Markdown body, optional witness) that files a pending
post for review, with email notification and a PRG success state.
1.1.0 - Fixed dropdown hover-gap and mobile submenu toggle bugs, tightened
responsive typography.
1.0.0 - Initial release.
